Here’s a really cool video of Hawaiian designer and living legend Sig Zane talking about the inspiration behind the design for the Hawaiian Vans he designed. It’s got some great images from the many diverse regions of Hawaii and he touches on a lot of present themes in Hawaiian history and culture that contributed to his inspiration. Can’t wait to visit his store in Hilo on Wednesday!
